The Cover of the book is the face of a book. A book cover has the few inches of space on its facade to reflect all what is there inside that book. The Cover introduces the book to the potential readers. Bookshops display books with their covers facing the reader. It is the reason a customer picks up the book. Because a book’s cover is its face, it generates expectation. If a reader sees an amateur cover on a book, they will expect the novel itself to be amateur. The overall design, font and colours must all communicate clearly the subject of the book. The best cover designs always have the right font and the right symbolic imagery.
